We will be hosting our annual Recruit NY open house event on April 22nd from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This will be at Station 2 (469 Watervliet-Shaker Road). There will be several demonstrations, refreshments, and plenty of opportunity to meet and greet with our members. We hope you will come visit!
Main Demonstrations
12:00 Forcible Entry - Using our training door prop, this demo shows viewers the tools involved, how, when, and why we would force our way into a building.
13:00 Car Extrication Demo -This demonstration will show how we respond to car crashes. It involves setting up, cutting the car apart, and removing our training dummy.
14:00 Truck 4 Ladder Deployment - We will set up our ladder truck and extend the ladder all the way up as if we were at a high-rise fire.
