Welcome to the Latham Fire Department! Formed in 1910, our department is located north of the City of Albany, New York, covering Latham, and the Town of Colonie in Albany County, New York. We protect about 21,000 residents. Our district is densely populated, with a mix of residential and commercial. Latham Fire Department responds to about 1,500 calls for service annually between Fire and EMS, making Latham Fire Department one of the busiest fire departments within the town of Colonie. Latham Fire Department is staffed by a dedicated group of volunteers and paid staff.

 

We currently have 11 apparatus vehicles and 2 separate fire stations. In order to keep growing and protecting our residents, we need a little help from our community! Donations go to help keep the equipment we need up-to-date and to help keep the fire stations running.
